Safaricom & Vuclip Partner to Bring Mobile Customers Affordable Premium Video Content

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwired - October 21, 2015) - Safaricom has partnered with the leading premium mobile video on demand [VOD] service for emerging markets, Vuclip, to offer customers access to premium video content on their mobile phones.

Using this service, customers can now access up to 100 videos a day for only Kshs. 10 by subscribing to the Premium Video Store launched by the two companies.

Popular content in this video store includes gospel music videos, comedy, television shows and movies from local content studios such as Sakata, along with international content such as Hollywood.

The service can be accessed by logging onto or by dialing *822# using a Safaricom mobile connection.
