Safe Bulkers to Present at Two Investor Conferences in New York City

ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - March 21, 2011) - Safe Bulkers, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE: SB), an international provider of marine drybulk transportation services, announced today that Polys Hajioannou, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, will be presenting at the J.P. Morgan Aviation, Transportation & Defense Conference on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 1:10 pm EDT in New York City. In addition, Mr. Hajioannou will also be presenting at the 5th Annual Capital Link Invest in International Shipping Forum in New York City on March 24, 2011.
