SAFER Systems to Be Key Presenter at AiChE's 2010 Spring National Meeting and 6th Global Conference on Process Safety

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwire - March 8, 2010) - SAFER Systems, the global technology leader in chemical emergency management solutions, will be contributing to the AiChE 2010 Spring National Meeting and 6th Global Conference on Process Safety in San Antonio, Texas on March 21-24, 2010 as both a presenter and exhibitor.

SAFER Systems will present two papers: "Modeling Dispersion and Deposition of Smoke Generated from Chemical Fires" and "Guidelines for Sensor Sittings at Industrial Facilities." These technical papers hold particular relevance to the Global Conference on Process Safety -- a technical conference for practicing chemical engineers -- as they respectively address:

  1. Real-time consequence modeling to track the concentration of individual species in smoke, as well as its soot deposition
  2. The challenges and practical guidelines to address them faced by a variety of industrial concerns in designing and effectively implementing sophisticated emergency management systems, incorporating networks of monitoring devices to manage and respond to hazardous chemical events.

"We have spent nearly three decades committing our resources to developing and providing the global industrial community with the most accurate and effective technological solutions to respond to chemical emergency events," says Ernest Gilbert, President of SAFER Systems. "This conference is a terrific forum for us to bring our latest technological breakthroughs and expertise to the attention of the attending assembly of chemical engineers and safety managers."

SAFER Systems' solutions are used globally by public and private sector organizations that handle, process, store or transport chemicals, by emergency response teams/first responders, and an array of government emergency management and homeland security agencies.

SAFER Systems will be exhibiting at booth #4. For more information on this event, visit For information on attending the event or speaking with SAFER Systems, contact Danny Bracco at
