Tourism provides an excellent opportunity for economic development in Canada. The Government of Canada's investment in tourism projects reflects its willingness to support actions that generate substantial economic benefits in the Laurentides region.

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, David Graham, Member of Parliament for Laurentides-Labelle, announced that $151,353 has been granted to Club Auto-Neige Amico under the Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP).

Created in 1969, the club is a non-profit organization that is responsible for the safety and maintenance of the trails. The non-repayable contribution will enable the organization to acquire a new groomer and grading equipment, which will contribute to the sustainability of the trails and the safety of snowmobilers.
