Safety - Always On The Cards For BWF

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 26, 2006) - In 2006 the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) keeps up the momentum of its campaign to improve health & safety awareness in the joinery workplace with the publication of two more Woodworking Machinery Safety Cards. Numbers 21 and 22 in the series cover the safe use of Multi Ripsaws and the safe use of Profile Grinders and are available to both members and non-members.

Providing essential guidance for those operating or responsible for the wide variety of hazardous machinery used in the modern joinery and woodworking industry, the BWF's Machinery Safety Cards are printed on fully laminated rigid card and designed for display close to the relevant machinery for easy reference and instant reminders about vital safety procedures. More cards are scheduled for this year, including safe use of Veneer Presses, RF machines, Nail Guns and Spray Booths.

Copies (GBP 2 for members and GBP 3 for non-members) and details of all the cards in the 'Safe Use' series are available from the British Woodworking Federation on 0870 458 6939 or via the BWF website at
