Safety Systems Corporation Giving Firefighters Their First Look at DRIFIRE Performance FR Wear at FDIC Event, April 19-21 in Indianapolis

First Public Showing for Firefighters of Revolutionary New Performance FR Wear

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- FDIC 2007 Booth 4641 -- Safety Systems Corporation today announced that it is issuing a first-ever invitation to the nation's firefighting professionals to see displays and demonstrations of the Company's revolutionary DRIFIRE™ Performance FR wear solutions. This new product debut will occur at the premier annual national event for firefighters, called FDIC 2007, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis from April 16th to the 21st. More than 26,000 firefighters are expected to attend.

On display at the Company's booth (#4641) will be top-rated, silk-weight DRIFIRE Performance FR garments designed for daily activities such as physical training and to be worn under turn out gear. DRIFIRE is an engineered hybrid, multi-weight line of Performance FR garments, powered by patented Dri-release® moisture management technology and enhanced with proven flame resistance capabilities. These industry-first garments, which provide the optimal combination of flame resistance, moisture management and comfort, are specifically designed for users that require a performance garment, but have demanding occupations where there is potential for exposure to flame or flash fires.

"Firefighters can never be too well-prepared or too well-equipped against fire," said Safety Systems Corporation CEO Todd Wilson. "Between the external flames and the exertion required in their daily job, no one needs Performance FR more than firefighters. Moisture Management and enhanced thermal protection is critical in the fight against heat exhaustion and steam burns in the heat of the fire. We believe DRIFIRE is the first solution that gives firefighters the Moisture Management they need, the Flame Resistance and thermal management they want, and comfort they demand in a single Performance FR garment."

According to FDIC event organizers, no other event in the world provides training for firefighters. Whether new to the fire service, or a seasoned professional, FDIC 2007 provides a comprehensive range of courses and training options designed to improve the way firefighters do their job, both safely and effectively. From live burn to collapse rescue, from leadership training to recruitment issues, FDIC uniquely offers each and every firefighter critical new learning opportunities. The event occupies a 340,000 square foot exhibit hall spotlighting 900 of the industry's top companies showcasing the latest in technology, products and services.
