Sage Announces Grant Giveaway in Conjunction With Its Participation in the Grant Professionals Association Annual Conference

Sage Will Be Giving Away a $1,000 Grant; Two of Its Nonprofit Executives Will Lead Workshops on Fundraising, Evaluations, and Success Measurement


IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 16, 2012) - Sage North America today announced that it is giving away a $1,000 grant in conjunction with its participation in this week's Grant Professionals Association (GPA) annual conference. Two of its nonprofit executives, Bridget Brandt and Kathleen Denyer Hall, will present workshop presentations on fundraising, evaluations, and success measurement at the conference.

Tax exempt organizations may enter the Sage Grant Giveaway by "liking" the Sage Nonprofit Solutions Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/sagenonprofit, then navigating to the "Win a Grant" tab and telling Sage what the nominated nonprofit would do with a $1,000 grant. The Grant Giveaway began at 12:00 a.m. ET on October 12, 2012, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 31, 2012.

GPA's 14th annual conference is being held October 17-20 at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis, IN, and will attract more than 700 attendees from across the country and internationally. The conference has gained a well-earned reputation as the most comprehensive educational and professional growth event available for those committed to excellence in the practice of grantsmanship. Conference participants will attend workshops on a wide variety of topics presented by the most experienced and knowledgeable experts in their respective fields.

Brandt, director of marketing, will be presenting two workshops: "Raise Funds Faster than Apple Sells iPads" on Thursday, October 18th from 1:45-3:15 p.m. and "Top 10 Tactics: What Every Organization Should be doing to Evaluations" on Friday, October 19th from 8:30-10 a.m. Hall, associate product manager, will present "Real-time Outcome Measurement = Healthy Funder Relationships" on Friday, October 19th from 1:45-3:15 p.m.

Brandt has developed and promoted award-winning educational and marketing programs for nearly 15 years. She is current president of the Austin, Texas-based Support Behind the Badge organization. Brandt is also a member of the Austin Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), and has presented at the Bridge to Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Conference, CharityChannel Summit, the Association of Fundraising Professionals' (AFP) International Conference on Fundraising, and numerous other industry events.

Hall is the product manager for Sage Grant Management, responsible for driving the application's development to better meet market needs. Over the last four years at Sage Nonprofit Solutions, Hall has worked with over 2,500 customers in fund accounting, grant management, and human resource software. Hall is a natural writer, trainer, and speaker -- known for injecting fun into her blogs, courses, and presentations. She combines her love of teaching with the ability to support change agents.
