LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Jun 11, 2012) - From the AICPA Practitioners Symposium & TECH+ Conference, Sage North America today announced two initiatives that the Sage Accountants Network (SAN) is spearheading to make it easier for its members to keep up to date on Sage and industry issues and to provide learning opportunities for professional knowledge firms through the sponsorship of two VeraSage events.
Available to accountants and bookkeepers who belong to SAN, Sage is introducing SAN Mobile Connect, a new smartphone app that will help members stay connected with Sage product news, industry trends and helpful technical information. Real-time access to Sage product, community and industry news is especially helpful for SAN members when they are onsite with clients, saving time and keeping them up to date so they can provide the best service and experience to their clients. The SAN Mobile Connect app is available for iPhone®, Android, BlackBerry® and Windows® 7 phones.

In addition to the launch of the new mobile app, Sage is the social media sponsor and is participating in two VeraSage Institute events from June 13-14 that will offer professional knowledge firms, such as accountants, the opportunity to gain and exchange insights on how to better manage their business and how to price services based on value. Sessions being offered include setting price and scope, value conversation and managing people in a timeless firm. The project management session will be presented by Ed Kless, senior director of partner development and strategy at Sage and senior fellow at VeraSage.
