Sage Recognized as One of the Top 50 Construction Technology Providers by Constructech

BEAVERTON, OR--(Marketwire - Jul 27, 2011) - Sage North America, a provider of business management software and services to more than three million small and midsized businesses in Canada and the United States, today announced that it has been named to the 2011 Constructech 50. The Constructech 50 is a listing of the most influential construction technology providers with a strong and ongoing market presence. The list is determined by the editors of Constructech magazine and is published in the annual Constructech IT Playbook. Companies are judged on a variety of criteria, including having a strong product/service aimed at the construction industry, ongoing customer satisfaction and growth, as well as outreach and educational efforts for the construction industry, among others.

This is the third consecutive year Sage Construction and Real Estate has been named to the Constructech 50. Additionally, Sage Construction and Real Estate products have been recognized as the most widely used applications for construction estimating, job costing, accounting, payroll and project management, according to the Construction Financial Management Association's (CFMA) 2010 Information Technology Survey for the Construction Industry.

"Being chosen a member of the Constructech 50 again this year underscores our long standing commitment to the market, and it is an honor to be recognized as a leader and an influencer in the industry that we serve," said Jon Witty, general manager of Sage Construction and Real Estate.

"Since the launch of Constructech, we have definitely seen many changes throughout the industry. But, no matter where the industry stands as a whole, we have continuously seen companies step up to the plate in terms of services and solutions for construction professionals," says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech magazine. "The members of this year's Constructech 50 are no different. Their dedication to innovation and client-satisfaction will continue to enable the technology evolution for another 13 years."
