Sage Software Announces Sage FAS Fixed Assets Version 2008.2 Now Available
New & Enhanced Reporting Features Plus Updated Tax Capabilities for Sage FAS 50, Sage FAS 100 & Sage FAS 500

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - September 8, 2008) - Sage Software announced today the general
availability of Sage FAS Fixed Assets version 2008.2 for the FAS 50, FAS
100 and FAS 500 Fixed Assets product lines. Version 2008.2 includes new
Assets Snapshot reporting (for Sage FAS 100 & Sage FAS 500), expanded FAS
Report Writer capabilities plus Form 4562-FY Federal Tax Forms and
instructions, which are needed for depreciation allowances enacted in the
Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. The Sage FAS version 2008.2 update is
available for existing customers to download on the FAS SupportPlus Online
web site at www.sagefas.com/update.
Easy to install, customize and use, Sage FAS solutions are comprehensive,
integrated fixed asset management programs with versions suited for

New Form 4562-FY: To reflect the new 50 percent special depreciation
allowance enacted in the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, the IRS released a
new version of the depreciation and amortization form for fiscal year
filers. Form 4562-FY is included in version 2008.2 and replaces Form 4562
for tax years beginning in 2007 and ending in 2008.
Assets Snapshot: Available in FAS 100 Asset Accounting and FAS 500 Asset
Accounting, the new Assets Snapshot gives users instant command over fixed
assets via an easy, at-a-glance graphical summary of important fixed asset
data.
Expanded FAS Report Writer Capabilities: FAS Report Writer offers familiar,
built-in Standard reports plus the flexibility to customize and personalize
Standard reports. The version 2008.2 FAS Report Writer, now powered by
Crystal Reports® XI, offers users many new and updated features, such as
run-time input parameters, a formula workshop, support for multiple data
sources in a single report, charts, graphs and more.
