New Sage TimeSheet - Payroll Services Edition Improves the Delivery of Accurate Payroll Information

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 21, 2006 -- Sage Software announced today the availability of the new Web-based Sage TimeSheet - Payroll Services Edition, which allows Sage Payroll Services customers to both automate their employee time tracking and streamline their payroll processes. The new module enables businesses to integrate employee time tracking with their Sage Software payroll service easily, saving valuable time and money by minimizing costly mistakes caused by manual time entry into the payroll system.

Sage TimeSheet - Payroll Services Edition is the latest solution in the Sage Payroll Services portfolio to assist small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) with improving their payroll processes. For many years, Sage TimeSheet has offered organizations solid time tracking to help them better manage their time entry and management processes. Extending the Sage TimeSheet Web module to Sage Payroll Services customers will provide them with a competitive integrated solution for improving payroll.

Sage TimeSheet - Payroll Services Edition eliminates double entry of data with its integrated time collection and payroll entry. Using the Sage TimeSheet Job Scheduler feature within the application, the payroll administrator can easily transfer information from employee timesheets into Sage Payroll Services. The application can be set up to apply established earnings codes to employee time data, which can then be automatically mapped to the payroll service, making it easier to track accrual information and create accurate payroll reports.

In addition, Sage TimeSheet offers extensive reporting tools, such as Missing Time and Activity Analysis, to enable administrators to more efficiently address payroll related issues.
