Dozens of New and Enhanced Products Provide Choice for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses and Organizations


ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 14, 2007 --At Insights 2007, its annual business partner conference, Sage Software is showcasing its extensive portfolio of business management software and services for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) and nonprofit organizations, including new versions of Sage MAS 90 and 200 ERP and Sage SalesLogix CRM.

The breadth of products being highlighted at Insights 2007 underscores Sage Software's strength in offering the broadest range of business management solutions for SMBs from a single vendor, providing businesses and organizations with integrated applications, choice in their technology options, and the ability to migrate to more advanced software products as their operations grow. This broad selection of products and services also underpins the company's Sage 360° approach to connecting with their customers, providing a complete experience that begins with a comprehensive suite of business management solutions and continues with customized installation, expert training, and superior service and support.

New products and services featured at Insights 2007 focus on creating integrated end-to-end business management solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, and include:

Business Management:

New CRM solutions include Sage SalesLogix v7.2, celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Sage SalesLogix Mobile 5.0, available in spring 2007, providing the freedom of choice to select from multiple access methods (Web, Windows, and/or mobile) for each user, with simplified customizations for each environment. ACT! by Sage, celebrating its 20th anniversary year, will see ACT! by Sage for Financial Professionals and the ACT! Hosting Provider Program available in spring 2007. The ACT! Hosting Provider Program enables ACT! users to have their database securely hosted and managed by an authorized ACT! hosting provider.

Advancements in Sage ERP solutions include Sage MAS 90 and 200 ERP version 4.2, launched in April, providing advanced business intelligence management and personalization features as well as tight integration to CRM and the launch of the new Sage MAS Fixed Assets. Sage Accpac ERP version 5.4 extended solutions are planned for availability in 2007, including SageCRM 6.0 integration, Sage Accpac Insight 5.4 for enterprise reporting, data-mining and business intelligence (BI), Sage Accpac ePOS 5.4 for retail point-of-sale management, Sage Accpac WMS 5.4 for warehouse and supply chain management (SCM), and Sage Accpac Exchange 5.4, providing inexpensive Internet based EDI (electronic data interchange) management.

An upgraded line of Sage FAS Fixed Assets products, now celebrating its 25th anniversary year, is scheduled for summer 2007. The line, including Sage FAS, FAS Gov, FAS Nonprofit, and FAS Canada (versions 2007.2), will provide enhanced user security, Windows Vista compatibility, and support for additional barcode readers.

Timeslips by Sage 2008 will also ship this summer, and Peachtree by Sage 2008 will launch in June, providing enhancements to reporting and analysis, ease of use, forms design, and records management, including the ability to add attachments, such as spreadsheets or photos, to records.

Employer Solutions:

Sage Payroll Services will launch a series of new features in the summer of 2007, including paycheck printing services, and new wage and garnishment services, plus enhancements to the service's partner referral program. Sage Abra HRMS will launch new versions in the summer of 2007, providing enhancements for Abra eRecruiter and organization management capabilities, as well as improvements to core HR and Payroll features and Windows Vista compatibility.

Nonprofit (Fund Accounting and Fundraising)

Sage Millennium fundraising software for large nonprofits, and Sage Fundraising 100 Rainbow Edition for United Way chapters, will each benefit from integration with Sage Payment Solutions in the spring and summer of 2007, enabling organizations to increase both the efficiency of their payment and donation processing and the security of their donors' credit, debit, and bank account information. In addition, Sage Fundraising 50 for small and mid-sized nonprofits will benefit from increased integration with Sage Payment Solutions' new "Donate Now" functionality to support online giving. Releasing in the fall of 2007, Sage MIP Fund Accounting will include a sneak peek at new business intelligence (BI) tools and analytics, as well as a user interface redesign for improved usability.

Construction and Real Estate

Sage Master Builder Estimating (Standard and Extended), slated for summer 2007, brings together the industry leading Estimating suite of products found in Sage Timberline Office, and the simple and easy to use, low-cost construction management solutions found in Sage Master Builder, to help contractors win more bids, finish jobs faster and rapidly increase revenue.
