Sage Software Ships Enhanced Version of Fundraising Software for United Ways, Featuring New Grants Management Module and Enhanced Planned Giving Tools

Latest Release Also Enables Integration With Additional Sage Software Products

AUSTIN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 22, 2005 -- Sage Software today announced general availability of Sage Fundraising 100 - Rainbow Edition (formerly MIP Fundraising Rainbow), the latest version of its software offering United Way organizations a full suite of fundraising management and development tools, including managing United Way workplace campaigns. The new release (version 4.0) features several significant enhancements and options, such as a new Grants Management module, an interface to several additional Sage Software products; and expanded Endowment Module features to support additional planned giving activities. The product's name was changed from MIP Fundraising Rainbow to Sage Fundraising 100 - Rainbow Edition to more closely align with the company's new name.

Sage Fundraising 100 - Rainbow Edition now features new Grants Management functionality, enabling United Ways to quickly and easily administer and track the entire process of granting funds to agencies. From initial application and request through disbursement, Rainbow Edition lets United Ways monitor each stage of the funding process, including multi-step grant approval processes, and set up payout schedules based on program designations.

In addition to the seamless interface that already exists to the company's Sage MIP Fund Accounting, Rainbow Edition now includes accounting interfaces for additional Sage Software products, including general ledger interfaces for Sage ACCPAC 7.3 and versions of Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting back to 2004, including versions 2005 and 2006.

Other enhancements built into Rainbow Edition include expanded endowment module features for easier management of more planned giving vehicles and a better overall view of gifts and results from a single fundraising system.
