Sage Software Ships Enhanced Versions of Sage FAS Gov Fixed Assets and Sage FAS Nonprofit Fixed Assets

HERNDON, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 8, 2005 -- Sage Software today announced it is shipping versions 2005.1 of its Sage FAS Gov Fixed Assets and Sage FAS Nonprofit Fixed Assets solutions for nonprofit, government, and school organizations, including FAS Gov Asset Accounting, FAS Gov Asset Inventory, FAS Nonprofit Asset Accounting, and FAS Nonprofit Asset Inventory. The enhanced versions feature compatibility with the company's FAS Construction in Progress Accounting product, as well as several new and improved features. To date, more than 700 organizations have chosen the Sage FAS solutions to manage their fixed assets.

FAS Gov Asset Accounting and FAS Nonprofit Asset Accounting versions 2005.1 are compatible with FAS Construction in Progress Accounting 2.0, Sage Software's product for businesses and organizations needing to better control their capital budgets and streamline capital asset accounting processes. The FAS Asset Accounting solutions also now feature a Clear Period Close feature, an enhanced Allocations feature, and a new Links Menu.

The FAS Gov Asset Inventory and FAS Nonprofit Asset Inventory programs now feature an enhanced Express Start feature, a streamlined Inventory Helper, a new Inventory Manager, an improved Reader Manager, an enhanced Overdue Assets Alert, and an updated Virtual Reader.
