| Source: Sage Software
AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - May 5, 2008) - Sage Software today announced the availability
of the latest version of Sage
Fundraising 100, its donor relationship management solution for medium
to large nonprofit organizations. Sage Fundraising 100, version 7.0,
includes a full suite of integrated modules for effective, in-depth
management of sophisticated development programs, and features new
capabilities that support some of the most important management elements
for nonprofit organizations, including managing endowments, volunteers, and
grants. This latest version of Sage Fundraising 100 was enhanced with a
focus on simplifying how customers can use the software with their office
systems, such as Microsoft® Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
"Some of the most successful fundraising organizations in North America use
Sage Fundraising 100 each day," said Krista Endsley, senior vice president
and general manager for Nonprofit Solutions at Sage Software. "Version 7.0
is packed full of new features and enhancements, adding to its already
strong core functionality. Working closely with several of our largest
Sage Fundraising 100 customers, we developed the new Endowment Data
Examiner module, and new Volunteer Management module and interface, plus
various ease-of-use enhancements -- all designed to help nonprofits manage
their campaigns more efficiently and effectively."
Managing Endowments-
The new Endowment Data Examiner module enables nonprofits to import, view,
query, and report on summary data from third-party endowment applications,
including endowment balances, relationships, lifetime contributions, and
disbursements; display consolidated campaign giving and endowment
information; and synchronize demographics, addresses, phone numbers, and
e-mail addresses between Sage Fundraising 100 and third-party endowment
applications.
Managing Volunteers-
The new Volunteer Management module enables nonprofits to build detailed
volunteer profiles, including skills, availability, preferences, wish
lists, and other details; link volunteer profiles with the appropriate
volunteer opportunities, using the site-configurable matching process; and
facilitate the courting and grooming of volunteers by linking
projects/tasks to volunteer profiles, opportunities, and placements.
Managing Grants-
Several Grants Management module capabilities have been added, including a
new scheduled payment date manager; the ability to mass renew grant
proposals; the ability to mass update decision approval steps from an
import file; and the display of approval step and disbursement sub-totals
on the Grant Proposal manager.
Simplifying Office Management with Improved Integration-
The Address View now boasts built-in Google Maps integration and Easy
Letter functionality. The integration between Sage Fundraising 100's
Projects and Tasks, and Microsoft Outlook's Calendar and Tasks, has been
enhanced. Version 7.0 also features various import and user improvements,
plus the Edit Constituent windows can be customized.
"This latest version of Sage Fundraising 100 offers new features without
disrupting the software's look and feel," said Randall Lemley, IT director
for Arlington, Texas-based The Seed Company, a Sage Fundraising 100
customer since 2006. "We are especially pleased by the improved
integration with Microsoft Office. The new Easy Letter feature will save
steps and time as we communicate with constituents."
Using Sage Fundraising 100, nonprofits can effectively manage
communications and relationships, track contacts and prospects, and manage
tributes, events, volunteers, endowments, and more.
