Sage Software's Nonprofit Solutions Will Have Major Presence at 2007 AFP International Conference on Fundraising

900 Square Feet of Exhibit Space, Sage Software-AFP Golf Tournament, and Donor Retention Break-out Session Make Up Sage Presence at Nation's Largest Gathering of Fundraising Professionals

AUSTIN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 22, 2007 -- Sage Software announced today that its Nonprofit Solutions business will have a major presence at the 2007 AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) International Conference on Fundraising, the nation's largest gathering of fundraising professionals, to be held next week at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas. The company's products and services will be demonstrated across 900 square feet of exhibit space, plus Sage Software is sponsoring the conference's first-ever golf tournament and Heather Burton, product marketing manager for the company's Nonprofit Solutions, will present an educational session on donor retention tips and techniques.

Across 900 feet of exhibit space (Booth #831, Booth #244) at the conference's Exposition on Fundraising and Philanthropy, Sage Software will demonstrate what's next for its Sage Fundraising products, including Sage Fundraising 50, Sage Fundraising 100, and Millennium. Along with new online donation capabilities, Sage Software will showcase new, integrated Sage Payment Solutions (formerly Verus Card Services) functionality, which helps Sage Fundraising customers increase both the efficiency of their payment and donation processing, and the security of their donors' credit, debit, and bank account information.

Sage Software will serve as the title sponsor for the Sage Software-AFP Golf Tournament, to be held at the Tribute Golf Course in The Colony, Texas, on Saturday, March 24. Money raised from the golf tournament will benefit an AFP scholarship program helping colleagues and students from collegiate chapters enjoy the AFP International Conference experience.

At 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, Burton will present a break-out session on donor retention techniques, titled "Be Your Donor's Favorite Charity: Tips to Keep Them Giving Again and Again." Her presentation will include donor retention tips and techniques, including how fundraising technology can be used to implement retention strategies. Prior to joining Sage Software, Burton was the development manager for Maine-based Portland West, a social service agency, where she helped launch an extremely successful development and fundraising department. She is a member of the greater Austin Chapter of AFP, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), and is the vice president and development chair for the board of Capital Area Reach Out and Read in Austin, Texas.
