Season Tickets and Sponsorship Opportunities Are Now Available for Purchase

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 4, 2014) - The San Diego Aviators of Mylan World TeamTennis have secured the Valley View Casino Center (VVCC) as its home venue for the July 2014 season. The Aviators plan to build an intimate seating venue to accommodate its seven home matches.

World TeamTennis has a history at the VVCC, formerly known as the San Diego Sports Arena, during the 1970s with the San Diego Friars.

"We are excited about the return of Mylan WTT to its former home on Sports Arena Blvd. at the Valley View Casino Center. The world's best tennis players will be coming to San Diego and we are proud to be the host venue working with Russell and the Aviators team," said Ernie Hahn, senior vice president and general manager of the VVCC.

The VVCC is an iconic venue in San Diego having held some of the most famous moments in sports history.

"We are confident the Aviators season will only contribute to the sporting event legacy that the Valley View Casino Center has. With a custom venue, the arena will provide an intimate and up-close setting for our fans to watch the Aviators," said Russell Geyser, owner of the Aviators.

The Aviators recently announced the addition of the world No. 1 doubles team, Mike and Bob Bryan, to its team along with head coach David Macpherson. The identical twins are Olympic gold medalists and have won more professional games, matches, tournaments and Grand Slams than any other pairing.

The 39th Mylan WTT season is July 6 through July 27 concluding with the Mylan WTT Finals. The Aviators will play 14 regular season matches, with seven at the VVCC and seven on the road.
