San Diego Chiropractor Announces Practice Treatment Focus on Auto Accident and Personal Injury Patients

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 10, 2012) - The San Diego chiropractor leading CK Chiropractic Center has announced a practice focus on auto accident and personal injury treatment. CK Chiropractic serves the cities of San Diego, National City, and Mira Mesa. The San Diego chiropractic clinic is led by Dr. Kien Ta, who is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Independent Medical/Chiropractic Examiner, an AMA Impairment Rating and Industrial Disability Examiner, and a Qualified Medical Evaluator. Other practice chiropractors include Dr. James Caballero, a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. San You, Lac, an acupuncturist, and Kim Chi Nguyen, a licensed Radiology Technologist.

The majority of patients that CK Chiropractic offices treat are predominantly auto injury and personal injury patients, although the practice will still continue to see established patients and new patients suffering from other types of sudden or chronic injury. Dr. Ta said, "We are very excited to announce this focus on auto accident and personal injury patients. Since we have been seeing a dramatic increase in workman's compensation and whiplash cases, we realized that these patients truly need the specialized help we can give them as we assist them through the healing process in a pain-free way."

In many cases of San Diego auto accident and workman's compensation injuries, the symptoms and problems experienced may be similar, says the CK Chiropractic staff. Typical problems following a car accident or on the job injury include whiplash, headaches, back pain, neck pain, and pain that moves to other areas of the body such as the legs and other extremities.

Back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other injuries from these types of accidents are treated using the therapy or combination of therapy methods that the CK Chiropractic staff determines is the most effective. Each new back pain and neck pain patient will have a complete physical exam from the chiropractor and if necessary, undergo x-rays. The x-rays are examined by the chiropractor so that the origin of the back pain or neck pain can be determined.

A chiropractic adjustment is often the first type of treatment that patients receive at CK Chiropractic Center. This therapy involves spinal manipulation, during which chiropractor moves the vertebrae in the spinal column until they are correctly situated. Massage therapy may be implemented following this type of manual adjustment if the patient is still experiencing pain.

The staff of the CK Chiropractic Centers says that they are focused on working with patients who have been injured on the job or who are involved in a vehicle accident, as well as working in conjunction with personal injury attorneys who require the credentials that Dr. Ta maintains in regards to trial testimony.

The new focus of the CK Chiropractic practice will be a permanent change, and one which the staff says will benefit the San Diego, National City, and Mira Mesa area patients who visit them. More information about the CK Chiropractic Center can be found online at and the staff encourages new patients to call with questions about their health goals and injury recovery needs.
