San Diego County Credit Union Named 'Brand of the Year' and i.d.e.a. Named 'Agency of the Year' at 2014 SDX Brand Diego Awards

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 24, 2014) -  SDX (formerly San Diego Ad Club) is proud to announce the 2014 SDX Brand Diego Awards for excellence in marketing, media and technology as well as the Paula E. Sullivan Award for Outstanding Achievement, the AAF Silver Medal and the SDX/Sheila Fox Scholarship. The Honorees were announced at the SDX Brand Diego Awards Gala at the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier on Thursday evening, October 23, 2014.

In addition, the Paula E. Sullivan Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Bennett Peji, Bennett Peji Design, for his leadership and accomplishments within the industry as well as his service and contributions to the San Diego and Baja region. 

And, the AAF Silver Medal Award was presented to Mike Hodges, U-T San Diego, and Chad Robley, Mindgruve, for their leadership of the SDX Interactive Day over the past few years.

The SDX/Sheila Fox Scholarship was awarded to Kimia Rahmati, a senior at San Diego State University majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications.

Co-chairs for the 2014 Brand Diego Awards are Jonathan Bailey, i.d.e.a., and Melissa Lopez, Katana. "We are very grateful to the business community leaders who judged this year's Brand Diego Awards," said Bailey. "They represent a broad base of the San Diego businesses and have an extraordinary commitment to our city," said Lopez.
