San Diego Investment Conference: American Small Caps Make Their Way Back With Significant Funding Opportunities

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - December 14, 2010) - San Diego Investment Conference (SDIC) hosted a successful inaugural event at the Hilton, Torrey Pines on December 4th, 2010. Seale and Beers, CPAs (www.sealebeers.com) and Trinity Equity Partners (www.trinityep.com) are proud platinum level sponsors of SDIC. SDIC is grateful to iCFO Managing Partners for their strategic partnership.

Over 125 attendees turned out, representing a mix of accredited investors, angel investors, small cap investment bankers and industry professionals from the Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orange County and San Diego financial markets.

Ted McGrath, Keynote Speaker and CEO of Rize Global, said of the event, "The San Diego Investment Conference was absolutely incredible. Patrick Howell was the mastermind behind this and he pulled together a conference that is reshaping the American Economy. This investment conference is funding the visions, passions, and ledger lines of tomorrow's leading companies."

Ten presenting companies convened from around the nation, including Texas, Philadelphia and Arizona and the Southern California region, to present opportunities in biotechnology, health care, technology, sustainability and retail. At least six of the ten companies have reported funding opportunities, including a couple of multi-million dollar deal prospects.

Bob Hutmacher, CFO of Sutter Gold and Mining (TSX-V: SGM), a presenting company seeking stock exposure, said, "After presenting at the San Diego Investment Conference this December we couldn't be more pleased with the numerous investors and brokers in attendance, many of whom will be long term contacts."

Marty Nason, CEO of Casey Containers (OTCBB: CSEY), also said, "I was impressed with the attendance and caliber of the attendees at SDIC... I've attended many Angel and Investment Conferences, as a presenter and attendee and the SDIC rated up there in the top three."

Sandy Reihl, Investment Relations for Your Offers (www.youroffers.com), added, "We are having conversations with many potential investors that we met on Saturday and we feel very confident that something positive will come from having participated."

John Hammerschmidt of Aztec Solar Power (www.aztecsolarpower.com) said, "We came to the conference to share our incredible growth story and set the stage to meet with potential investors at the next conference in February... We highly recommend attending one of these conferences. The economy may be struggling, but America's entrepreneurial energy is strong and there are emerging companies out there well positioned for the next decade."

SDIC Founder and Executive Director Patrick A. Howell concluded, "I couldn't be more proud of the quality as well as the number of attendees for our inaugural event. The presenting companies represent the heart and soul of the American economy: the small cap company. We are proud of SDIC but there is a much bigger picture for America's revival and renewal at the 21st Century."

The next San Diego Investment Conference event will be held on February 5th and will be focused on the energy sector -- traditional oil and gas as well as renewable energy opportunities. For more information, please visit www.sandiegoinvestmentconference.com.
