San Francisco Chronicle Names Todd Miller Chief Information Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 9, 2007 -- The San Francisco Chronicle announced the promotion of Todd Miller to chief information officer. In this role, Miller will be responsible for the support, implementation, and overall vision for technology within the organization.

Miller joined the San Francisco Chronicle in September 2005 as the director of Advertising, Finance and Systems. Miller was responsible for all of the financial analysis and operations; budgeting; advertising rates and analysis; and systems deployment for the Advertising team.

Prior to joining the San Francisco Chronicle, Miller was the Information Technology Director of the Reno Gazette, a daily circulation newspaper based in Reno, Nevada. He has also held positions at other newspapers including the Elmira Star-Gazette in Elmira, NY and the San Bernardino County Sun in San Bernardino, CA.

Miller received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Nevada. Miller and his wife Paula reside in Pleasant Hill, CA and have three children, Nicole, Shawna and Ben.
