SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 24, 2010) -  The San Francisco Chronicle and have launched a new Web site dedicated to the Bay Area's restaurant scene. is a one-stop source for the best and most up-to-the-minute restaurant coverage of the Bay Area. The site features real-time reporting on everything related to restaurants, from openings and closings to chef buzz and hot-button dining issues, updated throughout the day.

"I've dreamt for years of having a dedicated Web site for collecting all the revealing, exciting and relevant Bay Area restaurant information in one place," said Michael Bauer, Chronicle restaurant critic and featured contributor to Inside Scoop SF. Bauer's popular Between Meals blog is a prominent fixture on Inside Scoop SF.
