Sanatana Appoints New Chairman


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 31, 2014) - Sanatana Resources Inc. ("Sanatana" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:STA) is pleased to announce that the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") has appointed Mr. Barry Fraser as a director and Chairman. In connection with Mr. Fraser's appointment, the Board increased the number of directors from four seats to five seats in accordance with the Company's Articles.

Mr. Fraser was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1978 and is recognized as a leading commercial litigation lawyer. In addition to his skills as a trial lawyer, Mr. Fraser is a leading practitioner in all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mr. Fraser is also Chairman of the Board of a TSX and NYSE Listed gold producer, and serves on that company's audit, compensation and corporate governance committees.

Sanatana granted Mr. Fraser incentive stock options to purchase up to 1,500,000 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.10 per common share. The stock options are exercisable on or before March 31, 2019 and vest immediately. The stock options are being granted pursuant to the terms of the Company's stock option plan and are subject to regulatory approval.

In 2013, Sanatana expanded the Watershed Property by acquiring, for the sole benefit of Sanatana and TAAC, a 20% interest in three additional mining claims located in Yeo and Chester Townships, Ontario. With an experienced management team and board of directors, the Company has the ability required to identify, develop and fund economic mineral properties.
