SanDiego.com Continues to Ride the Success of Community Partners

Community Partners Initiative Secures 38 New Partners in Program's First Month

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - February 8, 2011) - SanDiego.com secured 38 new partners in the first month of its newly launched Community Partners program. SanDiego.com implemented the Community Partners initiative in early January and has the goal to infuse $250,000 in the local economy by offering to provide free marketing and promotional support to 100 events in San Diego throughout 2011.

Major events that have recently signed on to be a San Diego Community Partner include Mardi Gras, ShamROCK, Shaun Phillips Dodge Ball, East Village San Diego Padres Opening Day Block Party, Surfrider Foundation 11th Annual Art Gala, ArtWalk on the Bay, San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival, Philip Rivers 5k, Gocar Tours Third Anniversary and Indie Fest USA.

Each event that applies for Community Partners undergoes a comprehensive evaluation process that consists of assessing an event's potential benefit to the community at large and benefits to fans of San Diego. The program is flourishing and partners are being added on a weekly basis.
