"As the Go-To online source in San Diego, it only makes sense for to host the search for the new symbol and mascot of America's Finest City," Stanley continued.

The winning mascot design will be picked on the basis of how it sums up the county as a whole, and the positive impact it will produce for San Diego. Entries will be judged by a panel of San Diego business and civic leaders, along with media personalities.
