SanDiego.com Secures New Partners, Launches New Website & New Brand

Several Community Outreach Initiatives Planned in 2011

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - SanDiego.com secured 11 new partners in one week as part of its new Community Partners initiative launched January 5 and has unveiled a new brand and new Website, according to Eric Cutler, vice president of marketing.

New Community Partners include the Center for Community Solutions' 12th Annual Tea on the Town, Bring It! Rock on for Stem Cell Research, Old Town San Diego State Historic Park's Blessing of the Animals, Cox Celebrity Championship with Drew Brees, Rolling to Independence with the World Stem Cell Foundation, Trolley Dances 2011, Bikini Week Tour 2011, Liberty Station Spring Fling, Forman's Foundation 3rd Annual Celebrity Pairing Party and Golf Tournament, Mission Federal ArtWalk, and Stephen Strasburg 5k with Tony Gwynn.

"Last year was a banner year for SanDiego.com," said Cutler. "We raised additional capital in order to move into expanded offices, brought on new sales and production staff, and, just this week, launched our new brand and new Website for our growing online community."

Now headquartered at 1901 4th Avenue, Third Floor, in the Banker's Hill neighborhood of San Diego, the company is still in an expansion mode and is hiring additional editorial staff, production team members and sales representatives.

SanDiego.com is also ushering in the new year with new community outreach initiatives. Cutler said the organization is reaching out to the San Diego community at large to cultivate the future of the Website and to make it the resource for all San Diegans. The Community Partners initiative will infuse $250,000 into the local economy by providing no-cost advertising to community-wide events. SanDiego.com plans to become the "go-to source for all that is happening in San Diego County," according to Cutler.

"Next month, we will underwrite an amateur design contest to create the official mascot for San Diego," he added. "We want to engage San Diegans to become a part of our online community and contribute to its content and future direction."
