SandRidge Energy and Samsom Oil - Key Players in US Oil Boom

The Paragon Report Provides Equity Research on SandRidge Energy and Samson Oil & Gas

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 1, 2011) - For the first time in over sixty years the United States will be a net exporter of oil-based fuels. The slowing domestic economy, combined with staggering growth in emerging markets like China has finally led to the US shipping out more petroleum products than it brings in. Meanwhile, shale oil and fracking have increased domestic production of crude oil and gas, causing a drop in net imports. The Paragon Report examines investing opportunities in the Oil & Gas Drilling & Exploration industry and provides equity research on SandRidge Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SD) and Samson Oil & Gas Limited (NYSE Amex: SSN) (ASX: SSN). Access to the full company reports can be found at:

According to data released by the US Energy Information Administration this week, the US sent abroad 753.4 million barrels of oil-based fuels in the first nine months of this year, while it imported 689.4 million barrels.

Oil prices fell to near $99 a barrel this week after a report showed US crude inventories rose more than expected, suggesting demand is tepid. The American Petroleum Institute said Tuesday that crude inventories rose 3.4 million barrels last week. "The significant supply increases and slowing demand could all coalesce around the second quarter," Morgan Stanley said in a report.
