'Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show' Takes Its Hit Production to New York for a Prestigious Annual Gala on May 24, Queens Theatre in the Park in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.

The Critically-Acclaimed Show Gets Ready to Launch Its 2011-2012 National Tour

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - Currently packing in the crowds five nights a week at the legendary Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the critically acclaimed "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show" (www.sandysratpack.com) is also hitting the road this year, beginning with a highly anticipated performance May 24 at Queens Theatrein the Park's Gala 2011.

Each year, this event presents an opportunity for the Queens Theatre in the Park to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations whose contributions improve the greater community of Queens. The theatre's most prestigious event, which is held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Flushing, N.Y., salutes the efforts of those who lend support to Queens Theatre in the Park as well as to the entire borough.

"Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show" is set to announce its tour dates for the show's 2011/2012 Broadway season theatre tour which kicks off officially in October 2011. Performances include stops in several major cities across the U.S.

Lisa Dawn Miller (www.lisadawnmiller.com), co-producer of the show with Hackett and one of its featured performers, is set to record a new album entitled Wasn't I A Good Time? She will be doing much of the recording in Detroit, where her father, late legendary Motown songwriter Ron Miller, launched his career 50 years ago. The album will feature many of the elder Miller's unpublished songs and session musicians that recorded with Ron Miller back in the younger days of Motown.

Lisa Miller's son and Ron Miller's grandson Oliver Richman is carrying on his family's musical legacy in a huge way. He was recently featured on "The Young Icons," a show about kids who are changing the world, produced by Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios.
