SANEF : Sanef group toll motorway tariff increases on December 1st 2005

Paris -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 21, 2005 -- As stipulated in the concession contracts and company contracts entered into with the French State, the Sanef group will raise its toll road tariffs for the two concessions, Sanef and SAPN, as of December 1st 2005.

The Sanef and SAPN company contracts provide the framework for the 2004/2008 period. In particular they set out the basis for calculating tariff increases that are in line with planned investments approved by the State: total investment outlays for the 2005-2008 period will amount to nearly 700 millions Euros.

The basis of future tariff increases will remain unchanged by the current disposal of the State's ownership stake in Sanef.

On the Sanef network (A1, A2, A4, A16, A26 and A29) :

Toll tariffs for this network will increase on average by 1.77 % for light vehicles (class 1, 2 and 5 vehicles), 2.72% for class 3 heavy goods vehicles and 2.82% for class 4 heavy goods vehicles.

On the SAPN network (A13, A14, A29) :

Tariffs will increase on average by 2.39 % for light vehicles and 3.39% for heavy goods vehicles.

Programmed investments for maintenance, security and improved customer services.

These tariff increases will allow the Sanef group to continue its investment programme with respect to the maintenance of the current network, the roll out of new construction projects, the reinforcement of security measures and the enhancement of client services.

The following points highlight a few key 2005 accomplishments:

- The opening on January 14th 2005 of a new 58,4 km section of the A29, between Amiens and Neufchâtel-en-Bray, providing the final link in the broad Northern ring road circumventing greater Paris.

- An ambitious modernisation programme on the l'A1 major toll plazas paving the way to improved traffic flows

- Resurfacing works along 160 kilometres of motorway

- Continued widening to 2X3 lanes of the A13 motorway
