Sanjay Chopra Appointed Director at The Structure Group®

Energy Industry Asset Management Veteran to Lead Asset Management Consulting Activity in Western Region and Enhance Expansion Effort in European Market

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - December 6, 2007) - The Structure Group® has appointed Sanjay Chopra as Director in its Asset Management Practice (AMP) area.

Chopra was instrumental in developing Structure's Asset Management Practice, which debuted in May 2006, and he played a key role in growing the AMP client base in the global utility sector. Chopra's industry experience and expertise were pivotal in Structure's effort to build partnerships with key players in the industry. He has also helped expand the practice to provide SOA/SODA consulting services and enterprise system integration. Chopra has worked directly with many North American and European utilities supporting their EAM implementations.

Before joining Structure in 2005, Chopra served as Vice President of Technology at DevonWay, LLC. He also served as Senior Operations Director at Siterra Corporation, managing a SaaS-based business-critical cell tower site and lease management application for the major wireless carriers and Fortune 100 companies.

Prior to DevonWay, Chopra spent nearly a decade at Indus International (now known as Ventyx), where he last served as Development Director of Enterprise Architecture and managed the development of a metadata-based, highly configurable GUI -- a unique approach which allowed clients to configure the GUI using metadata rather than modifying core baseline code, as well as developing and delivering Indus's SOA architecture and introducing a SODA methodology.

"We are pleased to have someone with Sanjay's experience spearheading the expansion of our Asset Management Practice," said Structure Principal Lou Perrelli. "With the amazing growth of Structure's Asset Management Practice in North America and Europe, Sanjay will continue to be instrumental in the expansion of our consulting and solutions offerings in the utility and energy markets. He has a tremendous track record in directing successful asset management projects and building partnerships with clients worldwide."

Chopra will lead Structure's Asset Management Practice activities in the Western segment of North America and will help Structure's AMP team build its practice in the European utilities market.

Structure's Asset Management Practice helps clients develop solutions that meet the challenges of disparate IT systems, shapes the solution and helps implement the solution. The range of AMP services includes the evaluation and implementation of new technology into legacy application frameworks, enterprise application integration, upgrade, replacement and system reconciliation due to merger and acquisition activity.
