Santa Claus Is Coming...To a TTC Station Near You!

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 19, 2006) - Santa Claus, accompanied by one of his trusted helpers, will be spreading some Christmas joy on the subway tomorrow morning, Wednesday, December 20th.

You can see Santa and his helper arrive at Bloor-Yonge Station tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. Along with the traditional ho-ho-ho-ing, Santa will be giving out candy canes to customers.

By the way, Santa-on-the-Subway is TTC subway driver Gerry Gallately, with the TTC's Kevin Carrington as Santa's helper.

What: Watch Santa and his helper arrive by subway train, greet
customers and distribute candy canes.

Where: Bloor-Yonge Station, southbound platform (Designated
Waiting Area).

When: 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 20, 2006.
