Santa Claus Schedules Free Private Readings of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas"

ustyme Convinces Santa to Take a Break This Christmas to Read to Good Little Boys and Girls

SAUSALITO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 11, 2013) - ustyme (pronounced "us-time") -- a free video-call app for iPad that creates shared experiences through quality content, like books and games -- announced today that it is now scheduling appointments to ustyme with Santa. From Dec. 21 - 23, a limited number of lucky children will get a special holiday gift -- an ustyme video call with Santa, straight from his busy workshop in the North Pole.

"Ho! Ho! Ho! It's not often I take time out of my busy Christmas schedule, but Mrs. Claus and I love "'Twas the Night Before Christmas,'" said Santa Claus himself. "We love reading this book to the elves on Christmas Eve, and now we have the chance to spread even more holiday cheer by reading our favorite book to good little boys and girls."

ustyme is granting countless holiday wishes by giving those well-behaved boys and girls the opportunity to have a real-time video conversation with Santa as he reads the classic holiday tale, "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." Children can speak directly with Santa, ask questions about the story, share what's on their secret wish list for Christmas, ask Santa what his favorite cookies are or even find out if Rudolph's nose is battery-operated.

"We created ustyme because we know how valuable it is for children to feel special and develop strong relationships with their loved ones centered around positive activities like reading together," said Linda Salesky, ustyme CEO and co-founder. "We wanted to incorporate those values into a shared experience with the jolliest person of all, Santa. We hope our ustyme provides more meaningful moments with families across the globe this holiday season."

Sign-up for a free, live ustyme video call with Santa Claus from Dec. 21 - 23 by following three simple steps:

1. Download the free ustyme iPad app from the Apple App Store and create a user account.

2. Once you are logged in, invite to be your ustyme friend, by tapping the "add friend" icon in the app.

ustyme launched in September with a robust library of games and books selected to generate conversation and encourage participation during a one-on-one video conversation.
