Santa Kitchen Timer Helps Put Holiday Dinner on the Table

Also Provides Ideal Stocking Stuffer for Family Chefs

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 15, 2015) - Let's face it: kitchen timers have never been considered a "cool gadget" or one of the technology wonders of the world. Until now, that is.

Just in time for the holidays, an Orange County, Calif. company is launching its first product, the Santa Kitchen Timer (

The handy timer takes the worry out of cooking and baking during holiday meal preparation or anytime with a Christmas musical alarm that rises above the clutter of common alarms that beep, ring and clatter, or even worse, are not loud enough to hear in a crowded room.

When your food is ready, the Santa Kitchen Timer's green and red lights will flash, play Christmas music and Santa himself will provide a gentle reminder of "don't burn the cookies!"

"I came up with the idea for two reasons," said Dan Williams, inventor of the device and founder of Studio Tiga in Foothill Ranch, Calif., an app development firm. "First, my mother-in-law has a hearing problem and often couldn't hear her timer go off while she was cooking. The flashing green and red lights really help her recognize when the alarm does go off." And, secondly, it was difficult for my large family to recognize the similar beeps from multiple timers used during our big holiday meal preparations."

One of the first users of the new timer said, "Our whole family enjoys it. When you hear the jolly timer go off you can't help but remember your childish happiness for the holidays."

Another original customer added: "It's a nice change to my lame kitchen timer and, I will be honest, I haven't burned a batch of cookies yet."

Priced at $14.99 on, the Santa Kitchen Timer is available as a standalone unit or as a magnet for convenient placement on kitchen appliances. More information is available at,, Pinterest --, Instagram --, and Facebook --
