At the same time Sanu announces the resignation from the Board of Mr. David Silversides. Sanu wishes to acknowledge Mr. Silversides contribution to the growth and development of Sanu and express its thanks for his work on behalf of the Company.

The Board of Sanu comprises the following: Mr. Wojtek Wodzicki, Mr. Neil O'Brien, Mr. Richard Clark, Mr. Brian Bayley, Mr. Michael Winn, Mr. John Lucking and Mr. Demetrius Pohl who is also Vice President of Exploration.

Sanu is presently focused on several highly promising projects in the emerging gold-rich, volcanic-hosted massive sulfide belt of western Eritrea, and has additional exploration projects in Burkina Faso and Morocco. The Company has assembled an experienced African exploration team with a mandate to acquire and explore world class base metal projects throughout Africa. The team includes Dr. Demetrius Pohl and Dr. Steve Olson, both of whom have been instrumental in the success of Sanu. Dr. Pohl has spent 17 of his 37 years of gold and base-metal exploration experience on the African Continent, and Dr. Olson has worked extensively throughout several regions of Africa and was involved in the discoveries of the Golden Pride deposit in Tanzania and the Tongon deposit in Ivory Coast. New additions to Sanu's exploration team are Mr. Andre Tahon, a Belgian geologist with more than 20 years of African experience and Mr. Jock Slater who is an experienced international explorer who spent several recent years as Chief Geologist of Radius Gold.

The recent additions to the exploration and management team, the company's strong financial position, and the backing of its largest shareholder, Lundin Mining Corporation, means that the Company is well positioned to fund its current projects and to aggressively acquire new projects with world class potential elsewhere in Africa. Lundin Mining Corporation currently holds an approximate 12.83% equity ownership in Sanu.

In addition, Sanu announces the grant of 550,000 incentive stock options exercisable at CDN$0.95 per share for a period of five years to certain directors, officers and consultants of the Company.
