SANYO Launches High-Performance, Ultra-Compact Media System

CONCORD, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 7, 2006) - SANYO Canada has launched a very compact, high-performance media system with USB host function for MP3/WMA files, and an SD card slot.

The SANYO MAJ-R100 sports a variety of other features including front loading CD/R/RW/MP3 player, electronic equalizer, easy-to-use jog dial volume/mode, AM/FM digital stereo tuner, auto tuning, and lighted LCD display.

The micro-sized unit, measuring 6.8/6.0/8.8 inches/170X150X220 millimetres (WXHXD) charges/powers most MP3 players via the USB socket and offers a digital amplifier with 20 watts of total continuous output. It has an analogue up-front line-in socket for various MP3/HDD players as an alternate to the USB socket. The high-quality speakers, that measure only 4.0/10.0/7.6 inches/100 X 250 X 190 millimetres (WXHXD), have a back-load horn design in wood cabinets with detachable grills.

The SANYO MAJ-R100, which also has timer/clock/sleep functionality, is available for an MSRP of $269.99.
