WESTPORT, CT--(Marketwired - Jun 28, 2016) - Yvette Cameron, SAP SuccessFactors Head of Global Strategy, tells the current edition of "Firing Line with Bill Kutik®" that consumer marketing techniques applied to the workforce will transform the employee experience in years to come.
Her video interview begins today on YouTube.
Cameron tells Kutik that HR leaders, especially those who are really forward thinking, are taking lessons learned from their marketing counterparts and are applying the techniques and the skills used in marketing to customers and consumers and are starting to think about how to bring that into the workforce.
Cameron adds that HR is absolutely going to transform the employee experience based on the lessons learned in how we transform the customer experience and that she is really excited about this area.
As one example of this trend, Cameron cited looking at the social activity and the strength of connections.
Inferring sentiment, Cameron explains, and not just asking about a sentiment. Starting to look at the activity and where are you logging on, she notes, and where are you spending time as opposed to just asking about how are you feeling about your work.
