Sapphire Tower Reaches 80% Sold Milestone

Downtown San Diego's Boutique High-Rise Reaches Success With Furnished Units

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - March 18, 2011) - Sapphire Tower has reached another milestone with 80 percent of its luxury residential high-rise units now sold. The sale of several furnished model homes, including one for $2.2 million has contributed to this success.

The availability of furnished, turnkey homes designed by high-end interior designers, has kept interest high and the sales momentum rolling, according to Chuck Sigmon, Director of Sales and Marketing for Sapphire Tower.

"All of the turnkey homes showcased at Sapphire Tower have their own unique style that caters to the discriminating downtown buyer," Sigmon said. "Having furnished residences helps buyers to visualize how well our large, open floor plans function. It is especially nice for buyers who want to avoid the hassles of finishing off a new place. There is something to the idea of instant gratification when you only need to bring your clothes and toothbrush."

San Diego-based interior design firms Design Squared and Artisan Design Group, winner of the Nationals Gold Award, are the creative forces behind the designer-appointed, move-in ready homes.

Sapphire Tower's model homes have been recognized with some of the building industry's most prestigious awards including a Silver National Sales & Marketing award for the Best Model Home Over $1 Million and an Icon Award for Best Interior Design for an Attached Product from the Building Industry Association.

A development of Centurion Partners, Sapphire Tower is a 32-story tower with 97 luxury homes including one-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse designs. The top nine floors of Sapphire Tower are designed with 18 half-floor penthouses with private elevator entries and spacious floor plans that measure approximately 3,000 square feet each. On floors eight through 23, there are only four homes per floor so that each is a corner unit with breath-taking views.

Now entering the height of the spring selling season, there are only a handful of homes still available, including three one-bedroom residences priced between $450,000 and $550,000 as well as four two-bedroom residences priced between $670,000 and $975,000. The remaining penthouses are priced between $1,850,000 and $2.5 million.
