Sarah Van Heirseele Named to Direct Marketing News' 2011 List of "30 Under 30 Direct and Digital Marketers"

NORTHBROOK, IL--(Marketwire - May 5, 2011) - Sarah Van Heirseele, Digital Director at full-service marketing agency Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide, has been named to the prestigious "30 Under 30 Direct and Digital Marketers" list by Direct Marketing News.

Winners were selected "for their proven leadership abilities to lead teams, their talent in initiating growth and new products and services, their ability to obtain measurable results for their brands and/or clients, and the knack for delivering fresh insight into the marketing challenges in the direct, database and interactive marketing industry," according to the magazine.

Van Heirseele has more than eight years of experience developing and implementing cutting-edge digital strategies, including social media, website development and mobile marketing, among others. Originally hired by Blue Chip as an Account Executive and later promoted to Account Director, she was appointed Director of Blue Chip Digital when the practice was founded in March, 2010. Under her leadership, Blue Chip's digital work already represents 10 percent of overall revenue for the agency and is forecasted to contribute upwards of 25 percent by the end of 2011.

In addition to working with clients including Procter & Gamble, Home Run Inn Pizza, On-Cor Frozen Foods, BJ's Wholesale Club and Fisher Nuts on cohesive brand marketing and shopper marketing campaigns, Van Heirseele is also helping to pioneer digital patient recruitment efforts for Blue Chip's Healthcare Division and its work in the clinical trial arena.

Van Heirseele has been a panelist at OMMA Mobile conferences in Los Angeles and Miami, has authored a bylined column for MediaPost, and has been quoted in numerous publications, including Progressive Grocer and the American Marketing Association's Marketing News magazine.

Prior to her agency experience, Van Heirseele taught Advertising Creative Strategy at the University of Illinois while pursuing her Master's Degree in Advertising. She and her husband, Jason, are proud parents of two great kids, Olivia and Evan.
