SARES-REGIS Group's Pacific Pointe at Douglas Park Is the Largest Collection of LEED Buildings in Southern California

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 8, 2013) - Southern California's largest collection of LEED buildings for sale or lease is at Pacific Pointe at Douglas Park, next to Long Beach Airport.

The United States Green Building Council awarded SARES-REGIS Group's first four corporate headquarters buildings in the master-planned business park with LEED Gold and Silver certifications for their high levels of environmental sustainability.

 SRG is completing three more high-image buildings at Pacific Pointe. All are being built to similar LEED and CalGreen specifications. Five of the seven buildings are sold or under contract.

Pacific Pointe is planned for 677,142-square feet of premium office and warehouse-distribution space. The project is "the largest development of multiple LEED certified buildings for sale or lease in Southern California under the USGBC's current New Construction Rating System," said LEED consultant Annie Argento, associate principal at Gaia in Marina Del Rey, Calif.

Buildings at Pacific Pointe at Douglas Park represent a new generation of premium corporate headquarters-distribution facilities pioneered by SRG.

Each building includes two-story executive office space, 3% skylights, extensive water and energy saving features and ESFR fire sprinklers. The buildings have secure concrete truck courts with dock-high and grade-level loading. The buildings have 30- and 32-foot clear heights and interior T-5 energy-efficient fluorescent lighting fixtures on sensors, dramatically reducing electricity use.

In Los Angeles and Orange counties, SRG has built 1,132 LEED Gold and Silver apartment homes and seven LEED Gold and Silver corporate headquarters buildings, the most of any privately held development company.
