Saskatchewan's Ministry of Environment Buys Additional Cantronic Thermal Imaging Cameras for Aerial Firefighting

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2007) - Cantronic Systems Inc. ("Cantronic") (TSX VENTURE:CTS) is pleased to announce that it has received an additional order from the Province of Saskatchewan for three sets of forward-looking thermal imaging camera systems for deployment by the Ministry of the Environment, Northern Air Operations with a total retail value at $100,000. These cameras are mounted on a fleet of fixed wing aircraft (water bombers) for firefighting operations in Northern Saskatchewan.

Cantronic won its first order with the Northern Air Operations unit of the Ministry of the Environment, Province of Saskatchewan in April 2006 for one set and received a further order for two sets in November 2006. After a year of customization and airworthiness certification process, Cantronic's airborne thermal imaging cameras have passed the required certifications and are now certified for use on the Bombardier CL-215 aircrafts used by this customer. The Bombardier CL-215 water bomber firefighting aircraft is used by many other Provincial air operations in Canada and State agencies in the USA for firefighting purposes.

"This marks our first thermal imaging camera certified for airborne firefighting and we are excited by the tremendous business opportunity this will create for the company. This further validates our technology as a viable solution for aerial firefighting," commented James Zahn, President/CEO of Cantronic. The use of thermal imaging in aerial firefighting and prevention is a growing trend among Provincial and State agencies in North America. Cantronic has proven it can compete with its competitors in providing innovative, customized thermal imaging products that meet customer's needs and specifications in many new markets and applications where the benefits of thermal imaging technologies are just now being discovered and put into use worldwide.
