SaskTel Max to Offer Sun News Network

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 29, 2011) - SaskTel and Sun News Network today announced that SaskTel will begin offering Sun News as part of SaskTel Max™ Entertainment Services beginning in November. Sun News is tentatively scheduled to be available November 15 within the Knowledge Plus Theme Pack on channel 69. Sun News will initially be available as a free preview to all SaskTel Max customers until January 31, 2012.

"Sun News provides a unique perspective on news and current affairs," said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. "We're pleased to add a new voice to our large and diverse SaskTel Max channel lineup."

"The addition of SaskTel to the growing list of cable and satellite providers who offer Sun News should be a relief to those who are tired of the status-quo news options," said Luc Lavoie, Head of Development for Sun News. "Sun News is a voice for the west and we're looking forward to having stories that are relevant to the people of Saskatchewan continue to play a major role in our daily coverage."
