SatMAX Corporation Announces a Joint Marketing Plan for Efficient Disaster Recovery With TLC Engineering

HOUSTON,TX--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) - SatMAX Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SATM), provider of global wireless, non-line-of-sight, satellite voice and data communications links to government, military, commercial and industrial customers announced today a joint marketing partnership with TLC Engineering, a GSA registered, 8(a) engineering firm based in Houston, Texas. Through a newly developed joint marketing plan, SatMAX is positioned to effectively market its wireless, non-line-of-sight satellite communications technology directly to Gulf Coast first responder teams and emergency crews. When hurricanes and tropical storms hit the Gulf Coast region millions of dollars are spent on recovery efforts. Now SatMAX Corporation will be able to better maximize their cutting edge technology through the assistance of TLC Engineering.

TLC Engineering has dealt with large scale emergencies including the major recovery efforts which took place regarding hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Ike. In addition, SatMAX Corporation announced that TLC Engineering will offer its products in non-Gulf Coast region disaster relief efforts giving SatMAX even greater market penetration.

"We are currently in discussions with the federal government trying to aide in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquakes and SatMAX communications equipment is one of the many product-service packages we are able to offer relief crews working in the devastated region," according to Tony Council, CEO of TLC Engineering.

SatMAX offers fully-equipped fixed and mobile satellite communication units, providing uninterrupted satellite communications in mission critical situations. These units are designed to create wireless "hot-spots" enabling a satellite communication from both indoor and outdoor locations -- in Gulf Coast disaster relief efforts; this type of equipment plays an important role as a backup when violent storms make landlines and cellular communications inoperable. This agreement between TLC and SatMAX has propelled SatMAX into a position to supply important local agencies with secure data and voice communications equipment before, during, and in the aftermath of disaster.
