SavaJe Appoints Senior Vice President of Business Development; Lamar Potts, Former PalmSource Vice President, Joins Leadership Team to Boost SavaJe's Sales and Marketing Expertise

CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(CCNMatthews - Nov 21, 2005) -

SavaJe Technologies, Inc., the developer of an open, Java™-based operating system for mobile phones, today announced the appointment of Lamar Potts as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

The announcement follows the recent appointments of Gregory Koss as Chief Financial Officer, and William Sorenson as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and is part of Gregory Koss' plan to strengthen the management team for the company's next phase of commercial development.

Lamar Potts has over 25 years experience in sales, business development, intellectual property licensing, and channel development. Most recently, he was Vice President of Licensing and Sales at PalmSource, Inc., where he played a leading role in establishing and managing relationships with global mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung and LG Electronics, and signed the first Palm OS licensing deal in China with Lenovo. Before that, Potts was Senior Vice President of Sales at Insignia Solutions where he managed Insignia's key relationship with Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Insignia, Lamar Potts held Vice President positions at Be, Inc. in sales and business development. Earlier in his career, Mr. Potts spent eleven years at Apple Computer, Inc. where he held a variety of management positions, including Vice President, General Manager of Apple's licensing business unit.

Gregory Koss said: "We are pleased to be filling this important position with someone of Lamar's high caliber. He is well-known in the operating system marketplace and has a proven track record at developing strategic relationships and implementing business strategies. With his impressive experience at PalmSource, Be, and Apple, Lamar's addition to the company is a tremendous asset. As we continue to develop SavaJe's potential and commercial success within the market, we are working with solid recruiters, including IronHill, to attract and secure the very best talent."

Lamar Potts said: "My appointment coincides with SavaJe's confirmation that it has completed the development of a SavaJe-enabled LG phone. An endorsement such as this from a global leader like LG should not be taken lightly. From my perspective, LG's action represents much more than an acknowledgement that the SavaJe Platform is simply fit for purpose. LG's intentions to launch a SavaJe-enabled LG phone in 2006 support my view that the market needs a third, major open OS to share the space with Microsoft and Symbian."
