Savaria Declares a Dividend

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - April 11, 2006) - The Board of directors of Savaria Corporation (TSX:SIS), the second largest company in the accessibility equipment industry in North America, has declared a dividend of 2.2 cents ($0.022) per common share to be paid on May 5, 2006 to shareholders of record on April 21, 2006.

This dividend complies with the Corporation's policy of declaring a dividend equal to 25% of the previous year's after tax earning per share. This is the second consecutive year in which a dividend has been declared.
