SavWatt to Attend Maryland's Clean Energy Legislative Reception -- Michael Haug CEO to Be Keynote Speaker

BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - January 10, 2011) - SavWatt USA, Inc. (OTCBB: SAVW), pioneers in LED lighting and the Green revolution, announced today that SavWatt will be attending Maryland's Clean Energy Legislative Reception to be held on January 27, 2011 in Annapolis, MD. Michael Haug, SavWatt's CEO, will be a Keynote Speaker at the event. Members of Maryland Senate Finance and House Economic Matters Committees which control clean energy legislation will be in attendance. SavWatt plans to display its Eco-Pole Street Light at the event. The Eco Pole which is powered by a wind turbine and solar panel combination is the sole energy source for SavWatt's 60 watt LED Street light which replaces a 250 Watt high pressure sodium lamp street light. 

Last year's Legislative Reception drew more than 200 participants. This year it is expected to draw even more with Maryland's O'Malley Administration prioritizing clean energy in its legislative agenda.
