Technical Paper Discusses "Distributed StealthNet - Creating a Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Environment for Simulating Cyber-Attacks for Test and Evaluation"

CULVER CITY, CA--(Marketwired - October 27, 2015) - SCALABLE Network Technologies, Inc. (SCALABLE), a leader in wireless network design and optimization tools, will be presenting "Distributed StealthNet (D-SN): Creating a Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Environment for Simulating Cyber-Attacks for Test and Evaluation (T&E)" on 28 October 2015 at MILCOM in Tampa, FL. Developed with funding from the Test & Evaluation / Science & Technology Program at the Test Resource Management Center, StealthNet provides a real-time, hardware-in-the-loop capability for simulation of cyber threats to the entire net-centric infrastructure. This TRL 6 capability was designed to address the gap in the Department of Defense (DoD) testing infrastructure to realistically evaluate the vulnerabilities and resilience of Blue Force communications against sophisticated cyber-attacks.

The presentation will discuss the most recent advances in StealthNet that were made in order to create large scale cyber test environments that operate across geographically distributed instances of the StealthNet. Distributed StealthNet now allows users to create large scale tactical network simulations with live systems at geographically distributed sites, enabling the assessment of the impact of a range of cyber threats on application and network performance at realistic operational scale.
