Schawk Appoints Jennifer Erfurth to Executive Management Team

DES PLAINES, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 15, 2007 -- Schawk, Inc. (NYSE: SGK), one of the world's leading providers of visual brand image management solutions to the consumer products packaging industry, announced today the appointment of Jennifer Erfurth to its executive management team. Erfurth will continue to serve the Company as global vice president of human resources where she oversees all aspects of international human resources, including talent management and organizational development.

Erfurth played an instrumental role in the Company's successful integration of employees acquired at the closing of the Seven Worldwide and Winnetts transactions in 2005, which tripled Schawk's employee base. She has also led the transformation of the department to a shared human resources delivery model. This change allowed the Company to consolidate the transactional aspects of human resources into a central location, while freeing up its professionals to focus on strategic issues and become business partners with the Company's operational leaders.

During Erfurth's tenure with Schawk, the Company was named a "Best Workplace in America" three times and a "Best of The Best" by the Printing Industry of America. Additionally, Schawk was also recognized as one of the "101 Best and Brightest Companies" to work for, three times by the National Association for Business Resources.

Before coming to Schawk, Erfurth served as director, human resources for CINTAS Corporation. Prior, she was director, human resources for World Color.

Erfurth received a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Management from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. She also earned certification in Strategic Decision Making in Human Resources and Executive Leadership from Wharton Business School.

Erfurth is a member of Who's Who for Executives and Professionals, the Human Capital Institute, HR Executive Forum, Society of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Association of Chicago and Management Resource Association.

Erfurth resides in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, with her husband and two children.
