(NYSE: SGK), one of the world's leading providers of visual brand image management solutions to the consumer products packaging industry, announced today the appointment of Stephen Kaufman to the new corporate position of chief technology officer, reporting directly to Chuck Dale, the Company's senior vice president of global operations.

In this new position, Kaufman will focus on the refinement and continual development of Schawk's overarching vision of strategic technology solutions applied to the requirements of the Company's global clients.

"I am delighted to take on this new responsibility and bring emerging technology tools into the visual brand imaging space," said Kaufman. "I look forward to the opportunity to direct the development and implementation of strategic technology solutions around such pressing business issues as environmental sustainability, globalization, supply chain integration and process automation."
