Schawk Named One of Chicago's "101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" for Third Consecutive Year

Latest Honor Marks Twelfth Best Company Award in Seven Years

DES PLAINES, IL--(Marketwire - July 18, 2007) - Schawk, Inc. (NYSE: SGK), one of the world's leading providers of knowledge-based brand image management solutions to Fortune 500 companies, announced today that its Chicago-based operations have been named one of Chicago's "101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR) for the third consecutive year. Schawk's Western Michigan metro area operations were honored by the same group earlier this year.

Winners of the "101 Best and Brightest" awards are companies that are cited by the NABR as working with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management. This distinction is bestowed by the NABR in honor of a company's recognition of their employees as their greatest asset. "Talented employees are a limited resource that smart companies appreciate," notes the Association.

Companies vying for the honor are evaluated in the following nine categories by an independent research firm: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance. Winning companies are recognized by the NABR as having demonstrated their commitment to breakthrough human resources initiatives.

"Today's organizations are increasingly challenged to 'think different' in their approach to attracting and retaining top talent," noted Jennifer Erfurth, global vice president of Human Resources for Schawk, Inc. "We are in the process of implementing a new commuter transit initiative that will benefit employees by saving them money and allowing them to help protect our environment on a daily basis."

"The sustainability of the talent base across our organization is one of our top goals," said David A. Schawk, president and chief executive officer. "We realize that the knowledge and creativity within every one of our employees must be leveraged to take our company to the next level."

This award marks the twelfth time in the last seven years that Schawk has been recognized with a "Best Company" distinction. Other awards include:
