Scheduling Time to Celebrate: Los Angeles Organizers Honor Their Best at 2nd Annual Los Angeles Organizing Awards

Los Angeles Business Organization Recognizes 18 Recipients at Annual Awards Gala

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 8, 2007 -- The Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO-LA) honored the best in their business Saturday, February 3, 2007, at the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Organizing Awards, at The Olympic Collection Conference Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Presented in part by The Container Store and Garage Envy, the awards gala recognized the growing professional industry and celebrated the individual achievements of the most influential organizing experts who define standards for home and business productivity.

The awards served as a chance to commemorate organizing professionals, recognize businesses and products that enhance the success of industry professionals, and generate industry public awareness.

"There's no better opportunity for our members to be able to network with each other along with other industry professionals," said Chris McKenry, NAPO-LA president. "With the success of this year's event, we look forward to continuing this annual tradition of honoring the best organizers in Los Angeles."

Based on membership and public voting, 18 award winners, from Most Helpful Organizing Technology to Most Innovative Organizer, were honored.

The gala awards evening included a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and awards ceremony, hosted by Master of Ceremonies and Los Angeles area comedian, Dave Linden with musical entertainment by the Monk Jazz Institute.

Other entertainment for the evening included a retrospective video celebrating the Los Angeles Chapter's achievements over the past year. National NAPO President Barry Izsak also took part in the festivities.
